StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 drivers for a company based in Nottingham.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified drivers with a valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration:
Monday to Friday AM - £17.93
Monday to Friday PM - £19.05
Saturday AM - £19.05
Saturday PM – £20.17
Sunday AM – £20.17
Sunday PM - £21.29
*Please note that the above rates include optional upfront holiday payment*
Responsibilities:
- This will involve delivering curtainside or box trailers nationwide.
- All work is trunking and shifts are planned to be 12 hours (some of this time may be on standby at the yard.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Start times are either 06:00 or 18:00 daily with weekend work available each weekend.
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
- HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
- Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Experience driving container loaded trailers
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Great communication skills
- Professional attitude
