StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 drivers for our recognised client , who require C+E drivers for their busy distibution centre that is located in Speke.
We are looking for highly dedicated qualified HGV Class 1 drivers with all valid licenses.We need C+E drivers to work 10 hour shifts, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration:
Monday to Friday - £18.72(PAYE including holiday pay)
Saturday and Sunday - £21.25 (PAYE including holiday pay)
*Please note that the above rates include optional upfront holiday payment*
Responsibilities:
- This will involve delivering double decker curtainside trailers nationwide.
- Average 3 drops per shift
- Average 10 hours per shift
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Start times between 02:00 - 06:00 (AM)
- Start times between 16:00 - 20:00 ( PM)
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
- HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
- Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Experience driving container loaded trailers
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- 1 assessment day needed
- Great communication skills
- Professional attitude
