StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 2 (C) drivers for ongoing multi-drop delivery work based in Dunstable on a temp-to-perm basis. We’re looking for flexible and motivated drivers who can support our client’s daily operations and maintain a high standard of service and professionalism.
This is a well-structured operation offering consistent shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rota, with early starts and strong long-term progression opportunities.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
• 4 on 4 off (0200–0700 starts): £17.21ph plus holiday pay, or £19.29ph including holiday pay
• OT after 40.25 hours: £23.28ph
What the role involves
You’ll be responsible for the safe, timely movement and delivery of customer products, ensuring all loads are correctly secured and delivered within agreed time windows.
Duties include multi-drop deliveries, maintaining high standards of customer service, reporting vehicle defects where necessary, and operating safely in line with company procedures. You’ll also be expected to attend training and support ongoing operational requirements.
Our ideal candidate
• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (C) UK licence held for at least 2 years
• Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions)
• Has excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Has strong communication skills and a professional attitude
• Is physically fit and well-presented
