StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing trunking work based in Brighouse. We’re looking for both day and night drivers, with consistent weekly bookings available and long-term work on offer with temp-to-perm opportunities. This is a well-run operation offering straightforward work, pre-loaded trailers, and no handball involved.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
Days (Mon–Sat AM): £16.09ph plus holiday pay, or £18.03ph including holiday
Nights (Sun–Fri PM): £17.34ph plus holiday pay, or £19.43ph including holiday
What the role involves
You’ll be completing trunking work between distribution centres using pre-loaded trailers. The role involves drop and swap work with no handball, providing straightforward and efficient runs throughout your shift.
Our ideal candidate
- Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years
- Has a valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR codes)
- Has temperature-controlled experience preferred
