StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for ongoing trunking work based in Bedford. This is a great opportunity offering consistent long-term work, immediate starts, and competitive PAYE rates within a well-organised 7-day operation.
Drivers will benefit from a straightforward trunking role with pre-loaded trailers, modern equipment.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
• £21ph plus holiday pay or, £23.53ph including holiday pay
What the role involves
You’ll be completing trunking work using pre-loaded trailers carrying ambient goods. This is primarily a drop-and-swap operation.
The operation runs 7 days per week, with shifts averaging 9–12 hours and 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Immediate starts are available with ongoing weekly bookings.
Our ideal candidate
• Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 years
• Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences)
• Temperature-controlled experience is preferred but not essential
